New Economic Development Website Launch: Sioux Metro Growth Alliance

We are very excited to announce the launch of a new website for Sioux Metro Growth Alliance. The mission of this economic development organization is to stimulate, sustain, and support the economic growth of the communities, businesses, and general stakeholders of the metro area outside of Sioux Falls. This newly designed website helps Sioux Metro Growth Alliance (SMGA) support its mission and its vision to grow its region. 

Using 立博客户端app下载’s website and CRM software to manage investor accounts and customer profiles, SMGA staff also has access to all of the following features:

• Upload images, PDFs, and files into a file manager
• Manage detailed member profiles
• Streamline staff work

We wanted to highlight some key features of this new website and show you design and navigation options in case you’re looking for some inspiration to implement onto your economic development organization’s site.

Design

• SMGA’s website was created using a component-based design, which is highly customizable and allows users to easily share content across multiple pages. 
• On the homepage of this economic development site is a larger image slider with quick links in a grid format with clickable icons. 
• If you scroll down the homepage, you will find the news & announcements, and workforce statistics that can be easily updated using 立博客户端app下载’s Freedom software. 
• You will also find a custom map outlining the four primary counties that Sioux Metro represents with an investor testimonial slider next to it. 

Navigation

• The main navigation menu contains four main categories. This "sticky navigation" stays fixed to the top of the web page as users scroll and move around on the site.
• This navigation is also intuitive and displays as a hamburger menu (three stacked lines) on the right side of the page on mobile devices.
• A hamburger menu expands when clicked on and collapses back into an icon to offer a clean and sleek design. 
• The utility navigation at the top of the page contains secondary action items, which are still very important for the user, such as an investor directory, email sign-up, and contact us buttons.
• Another important feature in the utility navigation is the search bar functionality. Learn more about why your economic development needs a search function.

Featured Web Pages 

• The Investor Directory page has features to filter by category, city, or search by keyword. On this page is also a profiles grid for investors that can be clicked on ahs displays a map along with the investor’s address, phone number, and website link. 
• On the Building & Sites page, site visitors can access an integrated GIS tool, LOIS, which is a searchable database showcasing available properties and build-ready sites in the Sioux Falls region.
• Full city profiles with statistics and key details can be accessed on the Life Around Sioux Metro page.
• Current and archived news is also published on SMGA’s site. There is also a filter by category option on this web page. 
• Investors and future constituents can get to know the Board and Staff on the directory page. The content and images can easily be updated when needed using 立博客户端app下载 Freedom. 

Sioux Falls Growth Alliance is truly committed to working with their partners to create a strong, united, and prosperous metro, and their new website and CRM is designed to help them do just that. This site also showcases the completely refreshed logo and color palette SFGA just rolled out, as well. A new look all around just in time for a new year!
